Temporary Fencing Permit

A Temporary Fencing Permit authorizes the installation of temporary fences around construction sites in Eko Atlantic City.

Summarized Description

Temporary Fencing Permit is a regulatory authorization required from Eko Atlantic City Management Limited (EACML) before any developer, contractor, or plot owner installs a temporary fence for construction purposes. The permit ensures that all temporary enclosures within the City comply with safety, aesthetic, and environmental standards outlined in the EACML Construction Works Rules and Regulations. The purpose of the temporary fence is to clearly demarcate construction sites, prevent unauthorized access, ensure public safety, and minimize disruptions or hazards to neighboring developments and infrastructure.

Temporary fences must be erected only after EACML grants permission, following submission of the proposed design. The fence must be positioned strictly within the developer’s plot boundaries and must not encroach onto sidewalks, streets, or neighboring plots.

The installation, maintenance, and eventual removal of the temporary fence are the developer’s responsibility. Throughout construction, EACML reserves the right to inspect and approve the fence’s compliance with approved specifications and may order modifications or removal if the installation poses a safety hazard or obstructs municipal access.
